Hello everyone!

PPP – One family,

3 pianists

Three musicians who captivate with their irrepressible joy of playing:                                  PianoPianoPiano retells 300 years of music history and takes its audience on a captivating journey from Norway to Argentina.

Along the way, well-known compositions are mercilessly dissected and reassembled. And there is always room for improvisation, which makes every concert an extraordinary experience.

The family structure of mother, son and stepfather becomes a musical phenomenon thanks to the ingenuity of the experienced arranger Stefan Kling and the different influences of the three professional pianists: classical music meets jazz; tango is paired with funk and world music: unheard-of sounds enchant in a unique way.

Mussorgsky - Great Gate of Kiev

Eva Gerlach-Kling

studied piano and church music at the University of Music in Detmold.

Since then, the pianist has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and accompanist. She is also a cantor at the Stiftskirche in Rotenburg a. d. Fulda in Germany.

Together with her husband Stefan Kling, she has realized numerous crossover projects with choir and orchestra in recent years (such as Brubeck's Jazz Mass, Palmeri's Tango Mass and Jenkins' interreligious peace mass "The Armed Man").

Tchaikovsky - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy

Stefan Kling

studied piano at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Weimar.

He was the pianist for the Leipzig radio big band and is a co-founder of the well-known world music band "L'Art de Passage".

He has also performed with Reinhard Mey, Katja Ebstein, Bettina Wegner, Hannes Wader and Gerhard Schöne, among others, and has toured Europe, Africa, America and Asia as a soloist and accompanist.

Marcello - Adagio

David Gerlach

studies piano and keyboards at the JazzRockPop Institute of the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media.

Even as a teenager, engagements took him to other European countries (e.g. to the Milan Expo 2015). In 2017-19 he toured with pop star Michael Schulte. This was followed by various TV appearances in 2018 and tours through Europe, the USA, Canada, Chile, Peru and Mexico to date.
